‘Chick-Fil-A Of Pizza Industry’ Is Opening In Downtown Commons This Week

Who’s hungry? A new joint that’s dubbed the “Chick-Fil-A of the pizza industry” is opening up in Downtown Commons! With a nickname like that, I’m already hooked. The Pizza Press, a 1920s newspaper-themed pizzeria, opens this Thursday at 405 K Street, Suite 240, Sac Bee reports.

The DoCo location will be the 1st of eight restaurants that franchisees Albert and Nick Romo plan to open in Sacramento, Placer and El Dorado counties. Leases are being negotiated in Natomas and the Arden/Watt area, Albert said, with plans to open next summer. Yum! Can’t wait to try.
