Last year Blake Shelton graced the cover of People Magazine, earning the title of 2017’s Sexiest Man Alive. There was mixed reception on Shelton getting the coveted title, both from fans and other country artists. Although, the latter was mostly in jest with friends like Luke Bryan. However, the time has come for Blake to pass on the baton. Drum roll please…
This year actor Idris Elba take the cover and the title of Sexiest Man Alive. Idris called the honor an “ego boost for sure. [I] Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today.’ But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise.”
You know Idris from shows like The Wire and The Office as well as movies including the Thor franchise. He’s also been on the short list for the next James Bond installment. Hopefully this will solidify that.
