CHECK YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION STATUS. I just did, and mine is fine. But, yours might not be because apparently the California DMV could’ve botched 23,000 voter registrations.

KCRA says that the DMV sent incorrect information to the secretary of state’s office for some voters for some voters. Most of the errors were on vote-by-mail, language and political party selections. All of which can cause issues for you. I accidentally picked the wrong party in 2016 and couldn’t vote in the primary. And if you don’t receive a ballot or get one in the wrong language…issue.

GO HERE to check your current registration status or to register if you haven’t yet. You have to register by October 22 to be able to vote in the November election.
