Connecticut Woman Finds Huge Black Bear Stuck In Her Car [PICS]

When Connecticut woman Linda Morad saw the lights were on in her Subaru Outback last Friday, she didn’t know why. However, after she approached the car and heard bizarre noises coming from within, she ran back inside. It was not until police showed up later that mystery intruder could be identified…

According to Fox News, Morad immediately called the police after realizing something was in her car. However, with the horn blaring and the weird noises, she just thought it was an intimidating car-jacker.

When police arrived on the scene, they quickly identified what they were dealing with: a huge black bear. In a crazy twist, the bear had not only broken into the car, but also managed to lock itself inside.

The surprised police officers then worked to get the bear out of the car. In a quick motion, one officer opened a car door and then ran to the other side of the car. The bear quickly climbed out of the car and ran away, seemingly unharmed during the incident.

Unfortunately for Linda Morad, her car was a completely different story. The scared bear completely destroyed the inside of her car, leaving plenty of claw marks and bear droppings. In fact, her insurance company even said the animal totaled the car entirely.

While it’s still not completely clear why it broke into the car, Morad has some theories. She explained to WFSB that she left a single banana in the car which may have attracted the hungry animal. She also thinks that because she used the car to take garbage to the dump the same day, the lingering smell may have lead the bear to her vehicle.
