Demi Lovato was hospitalized today, Tuesday, July 24, in an apparent heroin overdose. Upon hearing the harrowing news, the country community is sending love and support her way.

Brad Paisley, who worked with Lovato in 2016 for “Without A Fight,” wrote: “My friend  is one of the kindest, most talented people I’ve ever met. Praying for her right now, addiction is a terrifying disease. There is no one more honest or brave than this woman.”

Jason Isbell, who also suffered from addiction himself, wrote: “Hoping for healing for and understanding from those who don’t know firsthand what addiction can do. Believe it or not, it could happen to you.”

Dan + Shay re-posted Isbell’s tweet, and shared a message of their own: “Heartbroken to hear what our friend is going through right now. Sending all the love and positive vibes to her and her family.”

Lovato has had a rough history with drug and alcohol addiction. After six years of sobriety, she revealed in her latest single, “Sober,” that she relapsed and is seeking help. Her current condition is unknown. TMZ is posting updates as they come in.

We wish the best for her and her family.
