Dolly Parton And Jennifer Aniston Snuck Into A Movie Screening Together
While working on ‘Dumplin’ together, Jennifer Aniston and Dolly Parton got to know one another pretty well. They hid in the back row of a screening of the film together.

Dolly Parton worked on the soundtrack for a new Jennifer Aniston film, Dumplin’. The two got to know one another fairly well in the process.
Aniston stars in the movie as a former beauty queen, whose plus sized daughter signs up for the pageant in protest. She gathers others to join her along the way. Parton’s music is a huge influence on the young girl throughout the movie. The filmmakers therefore decided to ask the country star to assist with the soundtrack. Not only did she agree, but she also wrote some original songs for Dumplin’.
Because of her active involvement, Aniston and Parton ended up spending quality time together.
“She’s magic,” Aniston told InStyle. “I remember the first thing she said to me when she walked into my house. I said, ‘I don’t know how you do everything you’re still doing.’ She said, ‘Well, I dreamed myself into a corner, and now I gotta live up to it.’”

The two hid in the back row of a fan screening of the movie. Parton certainly had a strong reaction to it.
“When Dolly and I watched the movie together, we were in a theater full of people who didn’t know we were sitting in the back. During one of the funnier parts, she’s stifling her laugh and whispers to me, ‘They can’t hear my laugh. They’ll know my laugh,’” the Friends actress revealed. “A couple of minutes later I look over and she’s crying, and she says, ‘But they don’t know my tears.’”
Can’t wait to check out the movie! It’s set to hit theaters later this year.
