Easton Corbin is no longer with Mercury Nashville, his label since 2009.

Sounds Like Nashville confirmed that Easton’s parted ways and is in the middle of a career shift. He made two back-to-back No. 1 singles while under the label, “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It.” All three of his albums have been on the Top 5 of Billboard’s Top Country Album charts.

After going on tour with Carrie Underwood in 2016, Easton announced that he was working on a new album. She had nothing but praise for him in an Instagram post following the tour. She wrote:

“Thanks, @eastoncorbinfor being on this amazing tour. And thank you for this incredible gift! One of my favorite pics of one of my favorite artists ever! It really has been a pleasure getting to work with you. You and your crew are so hard-working and sweet. Keep on being awesome, no matter where the road takes you next! #TheStorytellerTour#ItsSoHardToSayGoodbye

There is no word yet about when to expect new music from Easton, but hopefully it’s soon!
