Well this would be scary! On Sunday afternoon, an Elk Grove movie theater was evacuated due to a gas leak.

According to one movie-goer at Century Laguna 16, the lights came on in the middle of the movies. Patrons were then asked to get as far away from the building as possible.

“We were watching a movie when the lights came on and a woman came in and said we needed to leave and go to the far corner of the parking lot,” Ann Hennessey told the Sacramento Bee.

Thankfully it appears that no one was hurt. PG&E came out to the scene and the Elk Grove movie theater handed out rain-check vouchers to customers.
