Eric Church Covers Aretha Franklin’s ‘Natural Woman’ [VIDEO]

Eric Church opened his set at Country Thunder Alberta, a Canadian music festival, with a cover of Aretha Franklin’s ‘(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.’

Eric Church paid tribute to Aretha Franklin during his set at Country Thunder Alberta.

The singer opened with a cover of the Queen of Soul’s hit, “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” reports Taste of Country. It goes without saying, but he absolutely killed it. He played the tune with just an acoustic guitar, then lead the song with his band into “Smoke a Little Smoke”.

News broke of Franklin’s passing on Aug. 16. Since her death, there have been countless tributes made to her, with artists reflecting on her legacy.
