Sugarland is releasing new music really soon!

According to Nash Country Daily, the country duo is dropping the lead single from their upcoming album this month.

The song, titled “Still the Same,” is due out on December 21st and was the first thing the pair wrote after reuniting. Singer Jennifer Nettles explained:

“The first time we were in a room together in almost six years, ‘Still the Same’ is the first song we wrote. This song is quintessential Sugarland, sound and message-wise.”

Kristian Bush also explained what it was like working with Nettles once again, saying:

“Normally, it takes 100 songs to write three good ones, but it’s different if you’re working with Jennifer. It takes one song to write one good one. That’s cool. You can’t ever underestimate the power of that.”

Outside of the new album, Sugarland will make an appearance at Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest at the end of the month and they’re planning an upcoming tour.

We can’t wait to see what they have to offer! Learn more right here.
