Although Florida Georgia Line has worked with Jason Aldean before, it’s all been behind the scenes. That’s about to change on the duo’s upcoming album, which will feature a true collaboration.

For those unaware, some hits FGL has written for Aldean include “Lights Come On,” “Burnin’ It Down,” and “You Make It Easy”. Since Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley are already familiar with writing for Aldean, being in the studio together felt right.

“We had a really good time in the studio,” Kelley told The Boot. “That was one of a few collaborations we’ve done where we were in the studio together — you know, all there. There was definitely magic in the room.”

Kelley also credits Aldean’s natural talents as a singer and songwriter for how well the song came out. “It felt good already, but he wrote the thing to life,” Kelley added. “I think we presented it in a way that’s different, that’s fresh. I just think it can’t come out soon enough. I think it’s a big ol’ smash.”
