Hero Dog Saves His Canine Best Friend From Drowning In Pool [VIDEO]
A hero dog saved his best canine friend from drowning in a pool after he’d slipped and fallen in, and the whole incident was caught on a surveillance camera!

Dogs aren’t just man’s best friend; they’re also best friends with other dogs (duh)!
According to the Charlotte Observers, a pooch in Arizona recently proved that himself when he saved his drowning buddy.
On May 1st, his owner, Laurie Sorsen Becerra, and her husband were surprised to see their dogs, Smokey and Remus, soaking wet. After checking their surveillance cameras, they found out what went down.
As it turns out, Smokey fell into their pool when they weren’t looking and couldn’t get out. Seeing him struggle, Remus tried his hardest to get Smokey out of the water. After trying to direct Smokey toward the pool steps, Remus realized the other dog wasn’t going to make it.

So, in a very heroic fashion, Remus dove into the pool and help push Smokey back onto solid ground.
Becerra later explained that while Smokey is usually unable to get into the pool because of a fence, he managed to bust through the fence on the day of the accident. While she’s glad to know one of her dogs can act as a lifeguard, she is still taking precautions to ensure it doesn’t happen again. In fact, she has already ordered a life vest for Smokey so he can always play by the pool safely.
