So, I actually haven’t seen anything about the Sacramento Sushi Fest on Facebook. But, apparently lots of people have, because 6,000 people marked themselves as interested in going. It was originally supposed to happen earlier this month. Then it was pushed back to July a couple of days before the event.

Issues With The Upcoming Sacramento Sushi Fest

According to The Bee, the sushi festival is run by a company called Fanoomies Entertainment. $20 will supposedly get you in and includes all the food you want. Sounds pretty great right? Except for the part where the Hyatt has no reservation for the Sacramento Sushi Fest.

Plus, The Bee says that Fanoomies was selling tickets on one website then logging names with another. The latter ticket company has since taken the event off of their website. Also, they suggest that people who bought tickets get a refund from Fanoomies or ask their bank to cancel charges.

The company also isn’t registered with the state. Plus, the event they have planned in another city mentions an intersection that doesn’t exist. So yeah, it seems pretty sketchy. If you bought tickets, get that money back!
