Being dads ourselves, we LOVE this: recently Jake Owen shared a text exchange he had with his dad and it showed that his dad is probably a lot like your dad…if your dad is the kind to offer you advice you didn’t ask for.

As you can see, Jake first sent his pop a photo of himself at the recent Pebble Beach Pro-Am, probably just thinking he’d enjoy the pic. And, by his initial reply, he obviously did. But then, without prompting, the elder Mr. Owen went full-dad-mode, offering Jake unsolicited advice on his recently-announced plans to grow his hair long again. Jake’s reply? He came back with, really, the only reply he possibly could.

Jake’s a good golfer, but dad won that round.
