Remember earlier this year when Disneyland shut down a bunch of restaurants and shops to make room for their new hotel? Here’s a little refresher on the story for you. Once the project in Downtown Disney started to get delayed, the brought back Earl of Sandwich. However, as of now that’s just temporary.

In September, Anaheim announced they’d no longer give Disneyland the substantial tax breaks they were getting. And the theme park is citing this as the reason for canceling the new hotel, according to AZ Central.

No word on what’s going to occupy that empty space now. And no word on if any of the following shuttered places will return:

  • AMC 12 Theatres
  • Rainforest Cafe
  • ESPN Zone
  • Earl of Sandwich
  • Alamo Rent-a-Car
  • Starbucks (west side location)
