Keith Urban and Julia Michaels have become quite close after collaborating together for Graffiti U.
The 24-year-old lent her writing talents to “Gemini,” the track dedicated to Urban’s wife, Nicole Kidman. He reached out to her a second time to work on “Coming Home,” reports Sounds Like Nashville.
“He said, ‘I have this other song that I really love that I’m working on. Can you come and see if this is something you want to do?’” Michaels said. “I was like, ‘Yeah, definitely!’ And it’s basically done. I’m like, ‘What are you talking about? This is amazing!’”

As a thank you gift, Urban sent Michaels a Steinway piano!
The surprise was waiting for her in her home after she came back from a tour with former One Direction member’s Niall Horan.
“I was like, ‘Oh goodness, I’m so tired. We’ve been traveling all day,’” she said. “We had just come back from Portugal, 14 hours on flights… I get in my house and I’m walking around, trying to figure out what’s different. And then I look and I’m like, ‘Is that a piano?’ I was in shock. I think I hugged it for an hour.”
