Marijuana is now legal in Las Vegas, but you still can’t fly with it! I guess there’s been a number of forgetful passengers because McCarran International Airport has installed weed disposal boxes. Hey, at least they don’t want you getting arrested. CNN reports the 1st 13 of a planned 20 “marijuana amnesty boxes” have been installed in locations including parking and car rental areas.
“The drawer pulls out; you drop your stuff in and you close it. You can’t really get your hand in there,” McCarran spokeswoman Christine Crews said. “If you start tampering with them, you’d be detected pretty quickly.”
So, uh, who gets to empty those out at the end of the night? I’m available.
