Local Brewery Temporarily Closed Due To A Public Health Violation

Oak Park Brewing Co. remains closed after a health inspection this weekend.  A notice was posted on at the Sacramento-area brewery on May 19. It mentions a suspension of the their health permit due to an insect or rodent infestation.

Oak Park Brewing Co. Has Health Permit Suspended

According to the Sacramento Bee, over 60 cockroaches in various states were found by an inspector on Friday afternoon. There were also mouse droppings found in various spots around Oak Park Brewing Co. Additionally, two dead rodents were found in a trap near the back brewing area and weevils were found inside a masa container. A return trip was made the following day and more droppings and cockroaches were found.

The owners have yet to respond.
