Military Members And Their Families Get Free Museum Admission This Summer

Blue Star Museums, a collaboration between multiple organizations, is offering free access to museums for military members. Just show your military ID for free access at eight Sacramento museums.
Additionally, up to five family members are covered. The program starts this weekend on May 26 and runs through September 3. The following museums are participating in Blue Star Museums:
- Aerospace Museum of California
- California Automobile Museum
- California Museum
- Crocker Art Museum
- Fairytale Town
- Powerhouse Science Center
- Community Memorial Museum of Sutter County
- Sacramento History Museum.
According to CBS 13, the following forms of ID are acceptable at Sacramento museums:
- CAC
- DD Form 1173 ID card
- DD Form 1173-1 ID card
