One Of The Last Video Rental Stores In Sacramento Closes

Holy crap—I didn’t even realize there were any video rental stores still open. But, after this weekend, there is one less in Sacramento. Awesome Video on Freeport officially closed on Sunday.

They posted the following on Facebook:

According to the Sacramento Business Journal, the business has been losing money for the last couple of years. They were open in Sacramento for nearly 25 years.

Awesome Video will reopen on April 15 to sell off their remaining inventory.
