Sacramento Police Department Rises To The Challenge…The Lip Sync Challenge! [WATCH]

Police Departments around the country have been participating in the lip sync battle. It’s basically what it sounds like—they pick a song, and film them doing a fun lip sync performance. The El Dorado Sheriff’s Department posted a video last week. But, this week the Sacramento Police Department finally got in on the action!

The Sacramento Police Department performed Summertime, and spoiler alert, there’s a dog involved. NY Times said the the lip sync challenge videos aim to “step up…public relations efforts.”

“It is allowing the country to see us in another way,” said Corporal William Pickering with the Norfolk Police Department.
