Sacramento Region’s Largest Apartment Complex Likely to Be Built Next to Arden Fair Mall

Mark Friedman, the man that owns Arden Fair Mall, has been looking for something great to take over for the Sacramento Inn that was torn down back in 2015. Due to its high drug trafficking and prostitution problem, the city declared the Sacramento Inn a public nuisance, and was forced to be torn down. Ever since then, Friedman has been trying to get someone to do something with the land. Well, developer Sotiris Kolokotronis wants to take the 25-acre land and turn it into a large two-part apartment complex built for young professionals that work downtown and want an easy commute to work. It’s plan is to contain 737 units, multiple pool decks, and at least one dedicated parking space per unit. Click here for the full story.
