Shania Twain Is Getting The Docudrama Treatment [VIDEO]

Shania Twain is the subject in an upcoming docudrama on the Reelz Channel’s ‘The Price of Fame.’ The hour-long special airs on Feb. 19.

Shania Twain is the subject in an upcoming docudrama on the Reelz Channel’s The Price of Fame.

Ashla Taylor, an aspiring country artist, is playing Shania in the hour-long episode. Ashla said:

“I do hope that Shania gets to see the docudrama. When she does I hope she will love the way I portrayed her. I have never met her. But if that day ever comes, you can bet I’ll be gushing over her and thanking her for being my driving inspiration.”

Nash Country Daily says that the docudrama will cover the story of how Shania rose to fame to become a five-time Grammy winner. The episode airs on Feb. 19 at 9 p.m. ET.
