Is there anything better than a direct flight? Being able to teleport, but somehow we aren’t there yet, even though it’s 2018. Anyway, Southwest Airlines have added direct flights from Sacramento to Austin and St. Louis.

In addition to these new direct routes, flights to more destinations will be introduced later this year. According to the Sacramento Bee, you’ll soon be able to get from the Sacramento International Airport to the following places via the following airlines:

  • JetBlue will start seasonal service to Boston on May 3.
  • Southwest will add daily service to Orlando on May 6.
  • Air Canada will begin daily service to Vancouver on May 17.
  • And Alaska Airlines will add seasonal flights to Cabo San Lucas between May 26 and Aug. 11, then again between Nov. 10 and Dec. 29.

The article doesn’t explicitly say that these other new destinations feature nonstop flights. So, they probably aren’t. But, it’s still nice to have more options!
