Tech Startup with ‘Exploding Market’ Launching in Sacramento

If you’re an engineer from Sac State or UC Davis, you might have a job ready for you by the time that you graduate. A company called Highlands Power that builds electric motors for cars is expecting to open up shop at The Urban Hive co-working space on Alhambra Boulevard. They are expected to start with just 10 people, however are looking to expand up to around 150 people within the next couple of years. They decided on Sacramento due to our proximity to Silicon Valley, and our recourse of engineering students within our universities. Click here for the full story.
