Three-Year-Old Battling Cancer In Tuolumne County Wants Cards For Her Upcoming Birthday

Three-year-old Grace Lynn Whited will go in her for second round of chemo next week. Grace’s mom brought her to the doctor at the end of May because she wasn’t “acting like herself.” That’s when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, according to CBS 13.

“She just wasn’t herself. She didn’t want to walk, she said her legs hurt, her bruises wouldn’t go away,” Jessica Whited told CBS 13.

Grace Whited’s immune system isn’t strong enough for her to leave the hospital. Or even to receive many visitors. But one thing that’s been keeping the Tuolumne County native happy is receiving cards.

“She loves opening cards and us reading to her and just likes hearing from people,” her mom said.
