What the…this is why I don’t fly with my dogs. One day after a puppy was killed on a United Airlines flight, this story comes out.

United Airlines Sends Dog To Wrong Country

According to The Guardian, Kara Swindle was traveling from Oregon to Kansas City, Missouri with her two kids and 10-year-old German Shepherd.

But, when she went to pick up the dog in Kansas City, she was presented with a Great Dane. While they are both big dogs, they are definitely not the same.

Apparently the dogs were switched—the Great Dane was supposed to go to Japan. And that is where United Airlines sent the German Shepherd.

Can you imagine going to pick up your pet from cargo, and getting the wrong? Then finding out that your dog IS IN ANOTHER COUNTRY?! I would be livid.

The shepherd was put on a flight back to the states. However, there’s no word on when it will be reunited with its family.
