Walker Hayes established the Be a Craig Fund, which encourages selflessness and giving back.
The name, of course, comes from Walker’s friend, Craig, who helped the singer when he was in a tough spot. Craig told Nash Country Daily:
“Craig and his family basically adopted Laney and I and our kids into their family and into their lives. And then he shows up one night after things had gotten so bad. We were on the verge of maybe losing our house and financially things were getting uncomfortable with me chasing my dream. He shows up out of the blue with his own minivan out of his garage with the title and keys and just hands it to me. I didn’t want to need help, but I did need it.”

The Be a Craig Fund encourages folks to seek out opportunities to give back to others.
Fans can submit stories of someone in need. There are also “Be a Craig” shirts shirts for sale, and donations are accepted. Some of the stories submitted will be highlighted and all proceeds will go towards those in need.
