“The Walking Dead” Actor Passes Away Over The Weekend

Aww man, I really enjoyed the character of Hershel Greene on “The Walking Dead.” He was played by Scott Wilson, who sadly passed away over the weekend from complications due to leukemia. He was 76 years old.
Dominic Mancini, Scott’s rep told TMZ Wilson was “a national treasure, a calm voice, and a gentle spirit to everyone who came in contact with him.” My fiance has never seen “The Walking Dead,” but he used to work at a golf course in Burbank, CA. When the cast was in town, some of them would go there and play. Scott Wilson was one of them and by all accounts was the nicest guy ever.
Scott has over 50 acting credits to his name. Also, he earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor for playing Capt. Billy Cupshaw in the 1980 film, “The Ninth Configuration.”
