Wildfires Causing Major Health Issues to Young and Old

At least 12 large fires are burning across California, destroying hundreds of thousands of acres, sending toxic pollutants into the air and contaminating water supplies. The air quality in certain areas particularly near the massive Mendocino Complex Fire in the northern part of the state is among the worst officials have ever seen. Personally these fires have been making me completely nauseous later in the day. The conditions aren’t expected to improve as new fires break out in addition to the ones that are already raging uncontrolled. Air quality districts around the state have issues warnings for people to say indoors. Many places have cancelled outdoor activities, including kids’ ball games, riding lessons, and even summer camps. If you can stay indoors, it is highly advised to do so.
