This is Tom and ever since I first heard Bohemian Rhapsody one night in the 70s coming through the speaker of an old tinny AM radio, I have been a huge fan of the band Queen. As a young teen and music fan, I loved how weird, how eclectic and more than anything else, how talented they were. What band, other than, say, The Beatles, had hits using a broader variety of song styles? Crazy Little Thing Called Love is nothing like Bohemian Rhapsody; Another One Bites The Dust and Somebody To Love are polar opposites in terms of style and yet, they were all huge hits.
So it goes without saying I can’t wait for The Queen biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” to come out this Friday (already have my tickets for the 7 o’clock show at the Esquire IMAX) and I love all the hype that’s been leading up to it.
However, none of the marketing put out so far can match this: a ridiculously adorable three year old doing her best interpretation of Queen’s biggest hit, and totally making it her own. Enjoy!
