By Scripps National Desk on October 10, 2018
$770 million dollars was transferred to California yesterday, according to KCRA. This adds to an already large amount of money being held by the government—around $9 billion. But the good news is, it’s really easy to see if some of it is yours.
You just go to the online database, enter your name and city and hit search. And, if you get bored like I do, you can search everyone you know. I mean, I discovered that my co-worker has $14 waiting for her. So, you’re welcome, M.
It seriously takes like a minute and you might have hundreds of dollars. Or $14. Or nothing. But, it’s worth checking.
