9 Year Old Boy Battling Cancer Gets Surprise From Kelsea Ballerini (Video)

Ayden Morgan was born with a very rare brain cancer. Because of it at the age of three Ayden went blind. The 9 year old goes through weekly treatments that would exhaust a healthy adult. How does he get through it? Music. Especially songs by Kelsea Ballerini. Ayden said, “Her music helps me through when I do surgeries and in the MRI machine. I listen to her songs every time.”
Last April Ayden got to meet Kelsea Ballerini. They talked music and about their shared love of guitars. It was a moment Ayden’s mom said her son will never forget. Apparently the impact on Kelsea was just as great. This week, unbeknownst to Ayden, Kelsea sent him a gift. Watch as Ayden opens that gift. It even has his name on it…in braille. I’m not crying you’re…. wait, yes I am. Ayden’s reaction, especially right at the end is priceless.
