Amazon’s Website Crashes As Soon As Prime Day Starts

…and apparently Amazon keeps crashing on Prime Day. At least when I get an error I get to see a cute dog. This is probably just the world’s way of telling me to stop spending money.
I get this error every time I try to search for something. But, it seems like most of the featured items work.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the initial crash occurred shortly after 3 PM EST (when Prime Day sales started). Amazon was down for about 45 minutes. And people were not thrilled.
Some of the items are only on sale for a certain window of time. So, the first items on sale during the glitch might have been impacted. Apparently the outage also depends on where you are in the US and what you’re looking for.
However, like, at least you get this pop up. You can’t be TOO mad when you see this:
