Homeowners Financial Group in Auburn has a holiday party every year.  But this year is different.  This year they’re giving back.  The employees decided to take the money the company would have spent on the party and buy toys, a play patio, changing tables and developmental toys and donate them to Acres of Hope.  Acres of Hope is a non profit organization that helps homeless women and children.  Homeowners Financial Group employees also threw a Christmas party for Acres of Hope residents yesterday.  It was complete with games, food, hot chocolate and gifts.  As one of the Homeowners Financial employees said, “This was not a hard decision for us.  We do it with love and joy.”

If you’re interested in knowing more and maybe volunteering at Acres of Hope, you can find them at acresofhopeonline.org   And thank you Homeowners Financial Group for leading by example.  #bethegood
