Brad Paisley paid a visit to the Montecito Fire Department to play some songs before the 2nd Responders benefit concert.

The concert will raise money towards the victims in the Montecito and Santa Barbara area fires and mudslides. According to Sounds Like Nashville, the ticket sales will go to revitalizing the local community. Brad teamed with Ellen DeGeneres to put on the show.

This is an important cause to both Brad and his wife, as they are both quite fond of the area. He said:

“Kim and I fell in love with Santa Barbara and the Montecito area on our honeymoon. It feels like small town America by the sea. With this concert I hope to raise awareness, spirits and money for the region that’s recovering from the devastating mudslides and fires. I hope people come out and actually make it an experience with us and visit some of the local shops, restaurants, bars and coffee shops.”

The concert will be held on May 12 at the Santa Barbara Bowl.
