Carrie Underwood took on a producer for Sports Illustrated for her unkind comment but she did it in the nicest way.

On Sunday, after NBC began tweeting about its Sunday Night Football program, SI‘s Jessica Smetana tweeted, “I love that NBC has been reading everyone’s Collinsworth slide tweets because it means they’ve also been reading all the tweets about how much we hate the new Carrie Underwood song.”

According to PopCulture, yesterday morning, Underwood responded. “Hey, I know my music isn’t for everyone, but I love what I do and I love being a part of @SNFonNBC!” she wrote. “I am one lucky lady! I also love women who build other women up…just saying…”

The country star has been the voice of Sunday Night Football‘s theme song and an accompanying music video since 2013.
