Cassadee Pope and Sam Palladio hit the ACM Honors red carpet together as a couple for the first time. They revealed plans to collaborate on music in the future.
“We tried a couple of co-writes, we had some wine,” Palladio admitted to PopCulture. “And then we got hungry and went out and had dinner. That’s kind of how it happens when you have the luxury of that. We got to collaborate a little bit live in the UK a couple of months ago…. We just have yet to write a hit song together.”

“That’s on the books,” Pope chimed in. “We need a third writer. We need a third writer in the room to keep us on track. I think that’s the secret.”
And, who knows? Maybe they’ll join forces with fellow couple Carly Pearce and Michael Ray. After all, Pope is responsible for giving Pearce the push to direct message Ray on Instagram, which led to them dating!
Now, that would be quite the dream collaboration.
