Fans of the proud, Kentucky-born Chris Stapleton will be able to hear his distinct voice provide narration for Kentucky’s newest run of promotional advertisements for their state tourism. Although, unfortunately, Stapleton will not be lending his singing voice for these videos, his narrating helps shine a light on some of Kentucky’s proudest industries and home-grown moments. With this new series of promotional videos, the award-winning country singer may have found another calling as the official spokesperson for the Bluegrass State.

According to The Boot, these promotional videos are a part of a series, called “Better in the Bluegrass”, and are enhanced by Stapleton’s smooth, cowboy delivery. Stapleton has received glowing praise from Kentucky’s Department of Tourism Commissioner, Kristen Branscum, saying that the country singer has been the perfect fit for the job. “The passion, sincerity and tone that Chris conveys through his music are a perfect match for the stories we want to tell,” Branscum said in a press release. “We are proud to be working with a world-renowned Kentucky artist as the voice of this campaign that will invite people from across the world to his home state.”
