Chili’s was quick to throw polite shade.

CHICAGO, IL - AUGUST 10: An Applebee's restaurant serves customers on August 10, 2017 in Chicago, Illinois. DineEquity, the parent company of Applebee's and IHOP, plans to close up to 160 restaurants in the first quarter of 2018. The announcement helped the stock climb more than 4 percent today.

With Applebee’s serving their $1 Long Island Ice Teas all month long, why wouldn’t you want to eat there?

Earlier this week, Twitter user @lilgautama shared an image of what he claimed he received from his local Applebee’s after ordering the Southwestern Steak Salad…

…and it’s pretty sad.

The user tweeted that he dined the Applebee’s located in the Richmond, Virginia area on Tuesday night. The plate, advertised at $21.69, states that it consists of “Mixed greens, USDA Choice top sirloin with chimichurri, corn & black bean salsa, cheddar and crispy tortilla strips with a creamy house-made cilantro ranch dressing.”

His photo quickly went viral as the picture looks like he was given an overcooked steak on top of a small amount of lettuce and cheese.

Then, eventually people started tellingΒ @lilgautama to go to Chili’s instead.

Eventually, Chili’s responded to a tag in a response and threw some polite shade at Applebee’s.

On Thursday, a spokesperson for Applebee’s told BuzzFeed News that “the photo does not meet Applebee’s quality standard,” and that they have reached out to the customer.

Well, I guess that’s: Chili’s – 1, Applebee’s – 0
