The Cheesiest Book Ever. No, Seriously.

One of the most popular new books at a library in Michigan is really, really cheesy.

No, like literally.

The book is made of cheese, and there are actually ten copies of it.

They’re in the library of art and design at the University of Michigan and are the work of an unnamed artist. Each of the book’s 20 pages is an individually wrapped Kraft single slice, and they’re all bound together in a bright yellow–and real– book cover. The “pages” contain no writing…they’re just cheese.

It’s called 20 slices and because Kraft cheese is shelf stable…they’re on the library shelves like any other book. You can check the book out but it looks like you can’t, you know, actually check it out because of very real concerns that someone might eat it.
