I have to be honest, this almost made me cry. Students at Cordova High School put together a video to show their support for the kids at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

Of course, Marjory Stoneman Douglas is in Parkland, Florida. On February 14, 2018 it was the scene of a tragic school shooting where 17 people were killed.

Since then, high school students all over the country have come together to support each other. In fact, some have spoken out about gun control on social media and television. And many are planning to walk out of classes in solidarity later this month.

Those might be considered grander gestures. But, all signs of support for those at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School are helpful. Including the heartfelt video that Cordova High students put together.

“We just got out of Kindness Week. So, the idea of kindness and support and positivity was really fresh in all of our minds,” student Tyler Jenkins told KCRA.

“We wanted to show in the video that we’re so sorry this is happening and it’s so incredibly hard for you guys,” student Emily Arnez added.
