California’s stay-at-home order asks residents to remain home except for essential needs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But what does that mean? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Everyone in California is required to stay home except to get food, care for a relative or friend, get necessary health care, or go to an essential job. If you go out, keep at least 6 feet of distance,” officials said. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The state outlined what’s open and what’s closed under the stay-at-home order. We created a quick reference for you on this post. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Essential state and local government functions will also remain open, including law enforcement and offices that provide government programs and services,” the state added. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ See the complete list at link in bio.

Sacramento County Public Health Order. Read the full order here

As of March 19, 2020, at 11:59 p.m., the Sacramento County Health Officer is directing all individuals living in the county to stay at their place of residence except for essential activities. The legal order is based on the same directives of social distancing issued this week to slow the transmission of the disease, but it provides more detail and enforcement ability. The legal order limits activity, travel and business functions to only the most essential needs and is intended to protect those most vulnerable to the disease, slow the spread of the novel coronavirus, and preserve local healthcare capacity.
