County Fire Causes Winters to Cancel Fireworks

Due to the fires that are happening in Yolo, Napa, and Lake County, the City of Winters has decided to cancel their fireworks show for tonight. On its website, the city cited mandatory evacuations in the area, poor air quality and smoke covering the town as the reason for canceling the event. They have also sent out a statement that they will reschedule the fireworks for another date.
