Craig Campbell is back to host the Celebrity Cornhole Challenge for CMA Fest! He revealed the star-studded lineup for this year.
Russell Dickerson, Lindsay Ell, Walker Hayes, NASCAR driver Scott Lagasse, Jr. LOCASH’s Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, Tegan Marie and Brett Young will be participating.
All proceeds from the event go towards Fight Colorectal Cancer. The cause is very personal to Craig, as he lost his dad to the disease when he was only 11. The “See You Try” singer told Pop Culture:
“Nobody should die at an early age like my dad did with colon cancer, simply because it’s very preventable. I’m talking about preventable into the 90% – if you find it soon enough, it can be prevented. So that’s my mission, that’s my passion to spread the word to get screened, and do everything you can to live as long as you can.”
Dee Jay Silver, who won last year, will also be playing. And so will Jerrod Niemann, who has participated all six years.
The Celebrity Cornhole Challenge happens on June 5 at Nashville’s City Winery.
