Devin Dawson’s Facebook Post Is Just For His Mama

If you watched the CMA Fest special on ABC Sunday night, you probably caught Orangevale’s Devin Dawson making an appearance onstage with Blake Shelton to help sing the #1 song Devin co-wrote, God’s Country. And you can bet his mom caught it too.

Of course, the performance was filmed earlier this summer during CMA Fest in Nashville–but this was the first time it was shown on national TV. For Devin, that was enough of a milestone to warrant a Facebook post about it. Well, that and, he knows how much his mom loves Blake Shelton. I love the message he included for her, which shows that while he may be one of the most promising young artists in Nashville, Devin is still his mamma’s boy.
