Disney Is Bringing Two New Themes To Disneyland After Dark In 2019—Including 90’s Nite!

Disneyland After Dark isn’t new. The after-hours parks experiences include specific themes and entertainment. There is always special food and merchandise to match the theme. And in 2019 they are trying a couple new events: Sweethearts’ Nite on Feb. 7 and 90s Nite on Mar. 7.
The events take place after Disneyland closes, but some of the fun begins in the park at 6 PM. And some of the attractions actually stay open for guests of the events.

Sweethearts’ Nite
It’s pretty much what you would expect by the name. A romantic evening for you and your loved one (too bad you can’t bring dogs…)
- Love song-themed dance parties throughout the park, as well as a “Royal Ball” experience
- Encounters with Disney couples
- Immersive photo opportunities featuring romantic scenes from iconic Disney films
- Sweetheart-themed décor, as well as romantic food, beverage and merchandise offerings
- Unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital downloads of your photos captured during the event
90s Nite

- Special ‘90s-themed fireworks show, throwback musical entertainment and more
- A re-imagined Disney Afternoon Avenue with special greetings from favorite Disney characters from the ‘90s and interactive photo opportunities
- Decade-inspired food, beverages and merchandise
