The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced the “Walk of Fame Class of 2019”. Familiar names in country like Dolly Parton and Faith Hill will have stars!
Parton received her first star in 1984. This time around, she will be inducted alongside Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris for their collaborative work on Trio. The country legend further released a thank you video on her Facebook, saying:
“Now, they tell me that I’m the first person this century—the first woman—to have two stars. Of course that’s natural. I like to do things in pairs, if you know what I mean. But I really am exited, so thank you.”
Thank you Hollywood Chamber of Commerce & #WOFCommittee. I’m so honored to be returning to the #HollywoodWalkOfFame and this time as #TRIO with my best friends #LindaRonstadt and #EmmylouHarris! And very special thanks to Brian Edwards for your dedication, love & support in making this incredible career milestone happen for us!
