The legendary Dolly Parton is heading to Netflix with a new series, and we couldn’t be more excited!

According to Taste of Country, Parton’s own Dixie Pixie Productions is working with Warner Bros. Television to produce the new show. Furthermore, it will debut on the streaming platform next year.

The show will focus on the singer’s music, with each episode focusing on a different song from her extensive catalog. Parton explained:

“As a songwriter, I have always enjoyed telling stories through my music. I am thrilled to be bringing some of my favorite songs to life with Netflix. We hope our show will inspire and entertain families and folks of all generations, and I want to thank the good folks at Netflix and Warner Bros. TV for their incredible support.”

While the legend herself will play a part in every episode, she won’t physically appear in all of them. Finally, this isn’t the first partnership between Parton and Warner Bros. They also worked together for two television films: Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love and 2015’s Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors.
