Not just the best in the country, the best in the world.  The Johnny Cash mural on the L Street side of the Residence Inn just took home the blue ribbon.  The artist is Shepard Fairey who created the 15 story image of Cash last year for the Wide Open Walls Festival.  Fairey says it was not just a salute to Cash but meant to bring attention to a cause near to Johnny’s heart:  prison reform.  It also celebrated the 50 year anniversary of Cash’s “At Folsom Prison,” album.
